Gilgit Baltistan Tour Package 12 Days

Click Pakistan’s representative will meet & greet the guests at Islamabad Airport. We will first start with the Islamabad city tour and explore some famous historical, religious, cultural and commercial attractions. Overnight stay will be in Islamabad.

We will travel toward Naran, bypassing small valleys with its panoramic views on this day. Naran is a photogenic valley and a famous summer holiday attraction. Before crossing Babusar Pass (4175 m), stopovers at different alluring spots and reach Chilas, a small town of Gilgit Baltistan. Overnight stay will be in Chilas.

Note: Naran, Babusar Pass route remains closed from October to May due to massive snowfall that leads to closure of all following highways. In this case, we opt to travel by the Besham KKH route.

After breakfast, depart for Skardu via a newly constructed carpet highway that cuts the distance from 10 hours to 4 hours. Reach Skardu and check-in at the hotel. Taking some rest in the hotel will head towards Shangrila Lake and Upper Kachura Lake to enjoy boating in Upper Kachura Lake, sightseeing and photography. Overnight stay near Shangrila Lake, Skardu.

On this day you will explore Shigar Valley, which is located only 30 minutes away from Skardu city. Stopover for photography at high altitude cold Desert and enjoy the scenic beauty of blind Lake from a distance. Drive to Shigar. Visit the old town Shigar and the famous Shigar fort (built-in the 17th century by the Raja of Amacha Dynasty of Shigar). Leisure time in the calm of Shigar fort lawn. Visit Amburiq mosque, which is considered one of the oldest mosques in Baltistan. Overnight stay will be in Shigar.

After breakfast, drive towards Khaplu, a small town with a stunning landscape. Stopover at the confluence point of the Shyok River and the Indus. Visit the giant Manthoka waterfall and sightseeing and nearby photography. Drive to Khaplu and visit the ancient town of Khaplu and the famous Khaplu fort (built in the mid-19th century). Visit 600 years old famous Chaqchan Mosque. Drive back to Skardu. Overnight it will be in Shigar valley.

Today is the departure for the highest plateau and natural wonder, Deosai Plains. Stopover at scenic Satpara Lake for photography and Sightseeing and continue driving for Deosai Plains. Visit Deosai top, Bara Pani and majestic Sheosar Lake. Spend leisure time at Sheosar Lake and enjoy views of Nanga Parbat from a distance. Drive back to Skardu by evening. Overnight will be in Skardu.

After breakfast, we will depart toward the majestic Hunza Valley, one of the most visited and top tourist destinations in the world. Stopovers on the way at Rakaposhi viewpoint for refreshment, photography and Sightseeing. Arrive in Hunza and transfer to a hotel and visit the Karimabad local market. Overnight will be in Karimabad.

Today we leave further towards the Pak-China border (Khunjerab Pass) and a beautiful Passu town. Before heading toward Passu, take a brief stop at one of the majestic Attabad Lake, which came into existence in 2010 against the massive landslides. Emerald lake circled with gigantic mountains will catch you for being unforgettable from your life. Then, spend quality time at Passu village and hike to see the breathtaking view. After that, there is a short break at Hussaini Suspension Bridge and then some quality time at the Pak-China border. Finally, get back to Karimabad after a whole day excursion; a hearty meal will have to wait for you. Overnight stay will be in Karimabad.

Today we leave further towards the Pak-China border (Khunjerab Pass) and a beautiful Passu town. After having breakfast, get ready to travel back to Naran Valley. Naran, Babusar road remains open from June to September. In other months of the road closure, we opt for Karakoram Highway, taking a westerly route along mighty Indus Valley and reaching Besham for a Night stay.

This day we move back by passing through high pine trees with multiple stopovers on the way for tea/coffee. Finally, we reached the capital city of Islamabad and check-in hotel for a night stay.

This day is the last memorable day of the Gilgit Baltistan Tour and the time is to drop you at Islamabad airport by saying Allah Hafiz-goodbye (end of services)
