Lahore Sufi Music Tour

Day 1 | Sufi Night

Arrive at the Shah Jamal Shrine area in Lahore.
Walk through the bustling entrance street lined with food stalls, flower sellers, and vendors offering incense, candles, and chadars (offerings for the shrine).
Enter the shrine complex respectfully; remove your shoes before stepping inside.
Visit the tomb of Hazrat Shah Jamal, which is under a large dome surrounded by intricately carved marble.
(Dhamaal Ceremony Begins) The shrine becomes vibrant with spiritual music and ecstatic dance.
Two or more dhol players (traditional drummers) perform continuously.
Men begin to perform dhamaal, a trance-like spiritual dance meant to connect the soul with the Divine.
The atmosphere becomes highly charged and energetic.
Sit in the outer courtyard or on steps leading down toward the lower platform to reflect on the experience.

We stayed at Diyar Resorts - Dhirkot which is very calm and family friendly hotel specially with children. All the services I.e. Hotel accommodation, vehicle with driver and fuel was arranged by ClickPak. Their prices are economical and services are quality. They picked us up on time and made all the arrangements for us to reach our hotel and check in. The drive was smooth and our guide, Waqar took us to Ayubia, the Pipeline Walk, Mall Road, and Patriata chairlift and explained how we could enjoy every area.
