Karachi to Hunza requires a little more planning than trips from Lahore or Islamabad, but it is completely straightforward once you know the route. There is no direct flight from Karachi to Gilgit or Hunza. The standard approach is to fly from Karachi to Islamabad first roughly 2 hours and then travel by road from Islamabad to Hunza over two days.
We recommend 9 days for Karachi travelers. One day to reach Islamabad and rest. Two days on the road to Hunza via Naran and Babusar Pass. Four full days in Hunza itself. Two days back to Islamabad and your return flight to Karachi. This pace gives you a real trip rather than a rushed series of checkpoints.
We handle everything from your Islamabad airport pickup on Day 1 to your Islamabad airport drop on Day 9. You book your Karachi-Islamabad flights separately PIA, AirSial, and Fly Jinnah all operate this route daily. We can assist with flight timing coordination.
Starting from PKR 135,000 per head without airfare. With return Karachi-Islamabad airfare included, the package is PKR 215,000 per head.

No. There is no direct flight from Karachi to Hunza or Gilgit Airport. You need to fly Karachi to Islamabad (2 hours) first, then travel by road to Hunza over 2 days. We handle all logistics from your Islamabad airport pickup to your Hunza hotel check-in and back.
We recommend 9 days minimum for a comfortable Karachi to Hunza trip. This includes 1 day to reach Islamabad, 2 days road journey to Hunza via Naran and Babusar, 4 full days in Hunza, and 2 days return. Trying to do it in 7 days means skipping either Naran or Hopar Valley.
We can assist with flight selection and timing. Most travelers book Karachi-Islamabad tickets independently through PIA, AirSial, or FlyJinnah apps. We coordinate your Islamabad airport pickup based on your flight arrival time.
Karachi’s climate does not prepare you for Hunza nights, which drop to 10-15 degrees Celsius even in summer. Pack a medium jacket, thermal undershirt for higher altitudes like Khunjerab and Babusar, and comfortable walking shoes. Sunscreen is essential at high altitude even on cloudy days. Carry your original CNIC.
For a first visit, 9 days from Karachi covers all the main Hunza attractions comfortably Karimabad forts, Eagle’s Nest, Attabad Lake, Khunjerab Pass, and Hopar Valley. If you want to add Naltar Valley, extend by one day. If you want to combine with Skardu, add 3 to 4 days.
