Fairy Meadows Nanga Parbat Basecamp Tour

Early morning departure from Islamabad, and head towards Chilas via scenic Karakoram Highway, passing picturesque spots such as Abbottabad, Mansehra, Batagram, and Dassu (a 10-14 hour drive)—with a short stopover in Besham for breakfast. Continue journey along the mighty Indus River, surrounded by dramatic cliffs. Reach Chilas in the evening. Overnight stay in Chilas.

Early breakfast at the hotel. Then, head to Raikot Bridge, a 2-hour drive away. After that, switch to 4×4 jeeps for an exciting journey on one of the most thrilling jeep tracks in the world to Tattu Village, taking about 1.5 hours. Begin a moderate hike 3-4 hours (9 km) through pine forests and streams towards Fairy Meadows. Once you reach Fairy Meadows, take in the stunning views of Nanga Parbat. Spend the night in the camps.

Have an early breakfast and begin the hike (approximately 2-3 hours) to Beyal Camp, which offers stunning, close-up views of Nanga Parbat. There is an optional trek to Nanga Parbat Base Camp (6-7 hours round trip to Base Camp) for those who are physically fit and adventurous (altitude ~4,200 m). Take in the views of glaciers, alpine meadows, and towering peaks. After exploring the area, head back to Fairy Meadows for dinner, a bonfire, and a night in the camps.

Start your day with breakfast at the camps. Then, go sightseeing and visit Fairy Meadows. Afterward, hike back to Tattu Village. Take a Jeep ride back to Raikot Bridge, and then switch to your vehicle. Return to Chilas, where you can reflect on your journey, enjoy dinner, and decide whether to spend the night in Chilas or Besham.

After having breakfast at the hotel, get ready to travel back to Islamabad. Travel via scenic route if Babusar Top is open (4,173 m). Make sure to visit Lulusar Lake, Babusar Top, and the beautiful green valleys. If Babusar is not accessible, return using the same KKH route through Besham. After lunch in Abbottabad, we will proceed to Islamabad and Lahore. End of Services
