Day 1 | Shalimar Garden - Wagah Border

Shalimar Garden: Start the tour by visiting Shalimar Garden; it stands as a testament to the grandeur of Mughal architecture and the exquisite artistry of Islamic garden design and is famous for its cascading terraces, fountains, and reflective pools, which add to its serene ambience.
Wagah Border (Pak-India Border Flag Ceremony): The flag hoisting ceremony is a momentous event at the Wagah Pak-India border that symbolizes the pride, patriotism, and unity of the Pakistani and Indian people.

Arrive early to get better seats.

Go through security checks at the entrance. You’ll be guided to the spectator stands near the gate.
It begins with patriotic music and crowd chants (“Pakistan Zindabad!”).
Pakistan’s border security force performs synchronized marching and ceremonial gestures toward the Indian side.
Gates are opened briefly during the ceremony.
The flag of Pakistan is lowered with honour and precision alongside the Indian flag.
The ceremony ends with the closing of the gates and a final salute
