Tour Itinerary of Hindukush Karakoram Tour
Pick up guest from Islamabad airport and transferred into hotel. After take some rest in afternoon we will take journey to city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi including historical landmarks like Shahi Faisal Mosque, Damn e Koh, and the bustling bazaars of Rawalpindi. Overnight stay in Islamabad.
We will start our journey by heading to Ayun Valley in Chitral, Pakistan, via the Lowari Tunnel through the mountainous region. Our first stop will be in Dir before proceeding to Ayun Valley. We expect to arrive at Ayun Valley by evening for an overnight stay.
Today is going to be a wonderful day in the Hindu Kush region as we head to Kalash Valley. We have the entire day to immerse ourselves in the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the Kalasha people. We’ll explore the valley and visit nearby villages like Rumbur and Bumburet. After our excursion, we’ll journey to Chitral City for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will spend a few hours exploring the famous Chitral Shahi Mosque and Chitral Museum. Then, we will head to Gol National Park (Chitral National Park), which is about two hours from the city, for some exploration. Afterward, we will return to Chitral City for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Mastuj Village with brief stops at places like Charun and Booni. We expect to arrive in Mastuj in 4-5 hours and plan to spend some time exploring the village before settling in for the night.
After breakfast, we will depart for Teru, Phander. Along the way, we will visit Shandur Pass and Shandur Lake. We will arrive in Teru by evening and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Gilgit City. We will make stops along the way to visit Gupis, Gahkuch, and Khalti Lake. Upon reaching Gilgit, we will check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
We will travel to Hunza and stop at the Rakaposhi viewpoint before reaching Karimabad. In Karimabad, we will visit Baltit Fort for a guided tour and then explore the UNESCO-listed Altit Fort. We will end the day with sunset views from Duikar (Eagle’s Nest) before returning to the hotel for the night.
Today, we will travel to Khunjerab Pass, which is 4,693 meters (15,397 feet) high. Along the way, we will visit Attabad Lake, Hussaini Suspension Bridge, Passu Cones, Sost Dry Port, and the pass itself. After a full day of exploration, we will return to Hunza and check into the hotel for the night.
After breakfast, we will head to Ganish Village, one of the oldest settlements on the ancient Silk Road, and explore it for 1-2 hours. Next, we will travel to Hopper Glacier in Nagar Khas, across from Hunza Valley, to see its active glaciers. Afterward, we will return to the hotel for the night.
We will begin by traveling to Nomal Jeep Point, which will take approximately 1 hour. After reaching there, we will take a jeep ride to the picturesque Naltar Valley, which will also take about 1 hour. Following our exploration of the beauty of Naltar Valley, we will return to Gilgit from Nomal, with an estimated travel time of 1 hour.
After breakfast, we’ll head towards Naran, making brief stops at Babusar Pass, Lulusar Lake, and Batkundi along the way. We’ll arrive in Naran in 7-8 hours, check into the hotel, and visit the famous Naran Bazar in the evening.
On the penultimate day of our journey, we will travel to Islamabad City with brief stops at Kewai Waterfalls, Balkot, and Mansehra. We will reach Islamabad by sunset and check into the hotel for our final night stay in Pakistan.
Last day we shall pick up our guests from the hotel and move toward Islamabad Airport for the End of our Journey and Say goodbye to this adventurous trip.
